If you're looking for real Italian ice cream specialties, you don't have to go to the sea in Italy, but rather stroll along Rathausstrasse in the beautiful piazza of Hildesheim. Because right here in the heart of Hildesheim, Salvatore Gigante from sunny Sicily has been the master of cakes and ice cream delicacies for many years.

But no less tasty alternative are the crispy, carefully baked pizzas in the brand new temple-like pizza oven. A large selection of home-made pasta is the perfect complement.
Our historic Bäckeramtshaus next door is particularly popular with many guests and is ideal for a small meal, especially at lunchtime.
